Stoner rock band Ruff Majik have released a new single and video, Who Keeps Score, from their upcoming album The Devil’s Cattle – out on 30 October 2020 on Mongrel Records. The track is also the first to feature new band member, multi-instrumentalist, and producer Evert Snyman (Pollinator) on lead vocals.
The polished animation is a collaborative effort from Lllewellyn Van Eeden and long-time illustrator for the band, Annemarie Buchner. Their combined talents give birth to a video that follows a band of vampire hunters that bite off a little more than they can chew. Featuring church-burnings, zombies, high-speed car chases and a healthy portion of bad dancing, it’s everything you’d want out of a three-and-a-half minute B-movie, if that’s what you’re after.
Vampires are at large I tell you, Vampires! Yeah. No seriously, some people are just so god damn draining. The only way to beat them is to write a loud and fast song and jam it out with some friends.
Songwriter, vocalist, and guitarist Johni Holiday.
